The Cacadu District Municipality hereby invites unemployed South African Citizens who are graduates in a Business, Engineering or Information Technology Degree OR have matric with mathematics and English and a 2 year Diploma in any field, to participate in the Ubunye IT Internship -Student-2-Government Programme. The duration of the programme is 12 months and begins in March 2013.

Ubunye refers to a new public-private partnership created to add value to municipalities around the country. Ubunye is in short, the Municipal ITSkills Development Programme which aims to address this challenge by implementing training of current municipal employees, student to government and holding seminars. Cacadu District Municipality has been identified to place students within their respective local municipalities on the S2G (Student 2 Government) pillar of the project to start effectively 01 March 2013. As part of the project, Interns will undergo intensive training in Municipal IT Skills
