On this varied and challenging programme, you’ll gain a broad understanding of how an investment bank works. The programme will be a minimum of 12 months of which the first 8 weeks will be dedicated to classroom training before starting your rotations in business. Initially you’ll enjoy rotations through a variety of business areas including Global Markets (our treasury division), Investment Banking, Transactional Products & Services, Credit Risk and Client Coverage. In these areas, you’ll gain invaluable experience of the sheer variety of roles available in our business, through conducting research and delivering your findings, job shadowing, attending client meetings and functions, case studies, report writing, project work, presentations and analysis.

After 6 months on the programme you’ll stream into one of the three product areas, Global Markets, Investment Banking or Transactional Products & Services. In these areas you’ll gain a more in-depth understanding/skill-set of your selected product area for a period of between 6 and 12 months.

You’ll need to be committed to a career in corporate and investment banking and will ideally have a post graduate degree in Business Science, Economics, Law, Investment Management, Financial Management, Engineering, or Financial Mathematics.
