CSIR: Honours Bursary Programme 2015

The CSIR hereby invites applications from students wishing to register for honours studies for the 2015 academic year in the fields of science and engineering (including the built environment). The bursaries are targeted at students who are considering a career in research. This is a comprehensive bursary and it covers all the normal costs associated with university studies, such as:
- Registration fees
- Tuition fees
- Books
- Accommodation
- Living allowance
- Once-off payment of R5000 towards a cost of a laptop
Field of Study
- Science and engineering (including the built environment).
Requirements
- Must be a South African citizen
- Planned enrolment at a South African university in 2015
- Minimum of 65% in pure mathematics and natural science for matriculants and an average of 65% for university students
- A copy of your Identity Document
- Latest transcripts (academic results)
