• Unemployed youth (between the ages of 18-35) • Grade 12/National Certificate (Vocational) • Security clearance from the SAPS • Code EC Driving Licence/Code 14 driving licence (Grade B Examiners) • Code EC + A driving licence (Grade A Examiners).

AA monthly stipend of R1 800.00 per month will be offered for the duration of the Programme, as stipulated in terms of the DPSA’s guide on Intern and Learnership Programmes.

NB. Learners who have previously been in a Learnership Programme in the Public Service will not be considered.

Applications must be accompanied by a signed Z83 form, a recent, updated and comprehensive CV with the names of three referees; originally certified copies of Grade 12 qualifications, IDs, valid driving licences and security clearance documents from the SAPS. A failure to submit the requested documents will result in the application not being considered.

All qualifications will be verified. Persons in possession of a foreign qualification must furnish the Department with an evaluation certificate from the South African Qualification Authority (SAQA). Candidates must indicate the number of the post/reference number in their applications..

Applications should be forwarded timeously to the Department. Applications received after the closing date will not be accepted. Faxed and e-mailed applications are not accepted.

Candidates are expected to be available for selection interviews on a date, time and place as determined by the Department.

The Department reserves the right not to make appointments and correspondence will be limited to short-listed candidates only.

Previous employment records will be verified. All appointments are subjected to a positive qualifications verification as well as security clearance and vetting.
