JOB PURPOSE

Supports human resources department by screening applicants and all paperwork and administration involved in the recruitment process; archiving/filing of all personnel files; analysing and researching data for special project; assisting HRBPs with ad hoc work/ HR-related projects.

ACCOUNTABILITIES AND APPROXIMATE WEIGHTING

Accountability General HR Administration & Assistance  (Weighting 60%)
Outputs to deliver this accountability:
To assist with HR programs, services, strategies and initiatives that are responsive to the needs of Fundamo / Visa:

  • Assist with the implementation of the Employment Equity plan.
  • Participate in ensuring Fundamo / Visa is BEE compliant.
    Assisting with any ad hoc HR projects

To provide day to day assistance and support to the HRBO regarding HR practices, policies and policy interpretation and problem resolution:

  • Assist with the recruitment and selection process (i.e. scheduling interviews, capturing information on Taleo, setting up interview packs)
  • Assist HRBP throughout the Performance management cycle.

To ensure the effective administration of the HR function within Fundamo / Visa:

  • Maintaining HR records by recording new hires, transfers, terminations, changes in job classifications, leave tracking
  • Maintaining any documentation as required relating to employees
  • Assist with creating and update organizational charts.
  • Develop and produce presentations and briefings

Accountability Reporting  (Weighting 20%)
Outputs to deliver this accountability:
To provide day to day assistance and support to the HRBO regarding HR practices, policies and policy interpretation and problem resolution:

  • Assist with the recruitment and selection process (i.e. scheduling interviews, capturing information on Taleo, setting up interview packs)
  • Assist HRBP throughout the Performance management cycle.
  • Assist with employee engagement activities such as staff meetings, Go Beyond certificates.
  • Assist HRBP with EE, Training and skills reporting/ requirements.
  • Support the Business with Industrial relations/ employee relations matters and the related legislative requirements.
  • Assist with on-boarding tasks prior to and first day in office

Accountability Risk & Compliance (Weighting 5%)
Outputs to deliver this accountability:

  • Protect Fundamo/ Visa information, intellectual property and corporate data systems in accordance with prescribed guidelines
  • Familiarise yourself with all risk and compliance related policies and procedures as communicated by relevant functions
  • Complete Risk and Compliance training as per internal requirements
  • Ensure adequate protection of the Fundamo/ Visa brand and reputation

Qualifications

FORMAL LEARNING/QUALIFICATION REQUIRED TO PERFORM OPTIMALLY IN THE ROLE

  • Industrial Psychology Graduate/ Minimum 3 year tertiary qualification
  • Honours will be an advantage
