The Gauteng Provincial Legislature(GPL) is offering internship opportunities to provide South African graduates the opportunity to gain workplace experience in the field of work that they have studied.

Applications will be welcomed from candidates in the following fields of study:

  1. Human Resource Management
  2. Public Administration and Management
  3. Communication (specifically with events management as a subject)
  4. Knowledge Management
  5. Data Management

The 6 month internship programme will commence on 6 February 2012 to 31 August 2012. Interns will receive a stipend of R4 000 per month and are encouraged to apply immediately as there are only a limited number of available positions per field of study.

Requirements

Applicants must be graduates in one of the fields listed. To apply, submit a detailed CV, certified copies of certificates, transcripts, identity document and a letter to the GPL, stating the field to which the intern is applying for from the above list.

Failure to submit required documents will result in the application not being considered.

A candidate that was previously employed under any internship programme or currently employed will not be considered.

It is the applicant’s responsibility to have foreign qualifications evaluated by the South African Qualification Authority (SAQA).
