Job Description:

GIBB (Pty) LTD, South Africa’s leading consulting engineering company is looking for a Junior HR Assistant. The Junior HR Assistant will provide HR administration and support recruiting efforts to the HR Consultant based in Cape Town. Duration of contract is 6 months.

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12
  • BCom Human Resources / National Diploma /
  • studying towards an HR qualification / needing to complete in-service training 
  • Basic knowledge of the BCEA and LRA Acts 
  • Strong verbal and written expression and comprehension 
  • Good inter/intrapersonal skills 
  • Strong attention to detail

Your key performance areas will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Screening of CV’s
  • Maintain CV, assessment database
  • Co-ordinate interview process
  • Administer Testing
  • Assisting with bursary application process
  • Assist in co-ordinating Cape Town office training
