The Incumbent will be responsible for:

  • Achieving the required pass mark for all assessments and portfolio of evidence
  • Learning corporate environment technicalities and skills
  • Gaining medical administration ability and knowledge
  • Capturing and processing of all incoming paper image and EDI Claims
  • Ensuring that all incoming claims are paid to the rules of the Medical Schemes Act and the Scheme Rules
  • Achieving predetermined standards and quality levels
  • Repricing of claims and or preparation of international claims where applicable
  • Quality control to ensure error rate is minimised
  • Escalating of queries where necessary for further investigation
  • Filing of documentation when the need arises

The applicant should meet these requirements:

  • In order to be considered you must hold a grade 12 certificate with
  • Mathematics,English, Afrikaans and or one African language.
  • Computer literacy (MS Office)
  • Must be currently unemployed and prepared to render services and obtain practical experience
  • Focused and attention to detail
  • Must not be on a leanership
  • Must not be on full time study
