Graduate positions are available in the following departments:

Internal IT

Internal IT is all about servicing internal customers – so you will learn all about how to deal with different challenges and manage a complex internal IT system in the workplace to get you ready for what is out there in the world.  You will be working with a local team within the SA business, but also have exposure to being part of a global team that has the challenges of managing an internal IT structure that is spread around the globe; giving you the opportunity to understand modern technology and communication techniques in solving problems on the ground and remotely.

Skills you will acquire:

  • Desktop computing and Desktop Support case management
  • Vendor and software supplier vendor management
  • Professional relationship building skills
  • You will get exposure to many different systems and technologies, including but not limited to e.g. Local Server, Network and Database applications; Asterisk based PBX; Networked Printers ; AD Group Policies, Scripts and administration; Network File Shares; Exchange & Outlook;  Network connectivity and troubleshooting (basic understanding of routing, DHCP and DNS); Network cabling and tracing; Telecommunications including IP Phones;  VPN connections including security components;  Virtualisation; WAP & Firewall administration; Product & systems knowledge (SCCM, SCOM, Skype & Apple TV); WAN & LAN concepts and technology

Marketing

As a Marketing Assistant Graduate, you will be supporting the marketing department by carrying out the daily tasks to keep the department functioning and facilitate the duties of the PR & Communication Manager, the Marketing Manager, Creative and Online Manager and Marketing Director.  Ultimately the Marketing graduate program will provide you with a good grounding in Corporate Marketing, Creative and Online marketing PR & Communications and Events, and others allowing you realize your personal preferences and passions within the field of Corporate Marketing.

Skills you will acquire:

  • Learning how to work within a diverse team of highly skilled Marketing professionals
  • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Corporate vendor and supplier management
  • Professional Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Campaign execution skills
  • Event Management
  • Social media and integrated campaign skills
  • Working knowledge of database management

Sales Administration (x1 in CT and x1 in JHB)

As a Sales Business Administrator Graduate, you will have the opportunity to fast track your career by spending 12 months with some of South Africa’s most highly skilled and reputable sales professionals.  You will be mandated to supporting the high performance sales teams with reliable and accurate revenue trends, customer and partner opportunity data, market segment and vertical performance data as well as contribute your ideas for innovative and leading corporate branding campaigns and events

Skills you will acquire:

  • Forecasts and budget planning
  • Ability to identify trends and challenges through quality data
  • Understanding a sales cycle and how to walk through an opportunity from first contact through to being a customer
  • Insight into the cloud market and the key levers and drivers a successful cloud business uses to measure itself
  • Manage and meet deadlines
  • Engage with sales leaders and understand their priorities
  • Ability to prioritise tasks in the correct order and handle situations under pressure

Channel

As a Channel Administrator Graduate, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Channel Sales team.  The candidate will be the primary point of contact for inbound queries from Mimecast partners (resellers) who require assistance with the partner portal, activities related to this, as well as channel marketing activities.  You need to be Customer Centric focused, with a passion for forming and maintaining partnerships.

Skills you will acquire:

  • Engaging with external parties
  • Becoming proficient in dealing with customer queries and assistance
  • Excellent administrative skills
  • Ability to take initiative
  • Insight into the cloud market and the key levers and drivers a successful cloud business uses to measure itself

Office Assistant

As an Office Assistant Graduate, you will be kick starting your career in a fast-paced, high performing environment, setting you up for the working world!  You will be involved in ad hoc duties, as and when requested by our MD.  You need to be meticulous in nature, pay attention to details and have the ability to juggle many tasks at once.

Skills you will acquire:

Essential Qualification/s:

The successful graduates must have completed the following in the last 2 years:

  • Diploma/ degree in either:  Marketing; Sales; Business Administration; Internal IT or Office Administration  for the various streams
