Scholarship Description:The scholarship is announced to preserve, promote and encourage literature, the visual and performing arts and the natural and cultural environments of the Western, Eastern and Northern Cape provinces. It can only therefore fund projects that fall within this prescription.
Dudley D’Ewes Scholarships up to the value of R10 000 each for post-honours studies only are awarded annually.
Eligibility Criteria:
Scholarshi is open to anyone who holds a university honours degree and candidates must potentially contribute to the furtherance of the Foundation’s mission.
Studies may be undertaken in South Africa only.
-The Scholarship award will be deposited into the fee account of successful applicants.
-At the discretion of the Foundation, scholarships may be renewed in whole or in part for a further period not exceeding one year.
-Completed application forms and referee’s reports must be received by the Foundation by noon on the last Friday in September. Supply the form to your referees or inform them where to download it and make sure they meet the closing date deadline.
-Late or incomplete applications will not be processed
-All applications are required to be motivated or supported by at least two referees.
