The Film and Publication Board (FPB) is implementing an internship programme and is seeking a total of 10 candidates who are interested in having an opportunity to gain practical work experience and skills development within the Media Regulatory Sector (Films, certain publications and interactive games) and who meet the following criteria:

Requirements: you must have just completed or studying part-time for a recognised and/or relevant qualification in the field of humanities (Social Science and Arts) or Law ● You are based in Gauteng and a South African citizen between the ages of 18 and 35 years old ● You are interested in gaining experience and skills and/or building a career in the Regulatory sector ●  You are computer literate and the skills to use MS Word, Excel, the internet and email at an intermediate and advanced level ● You have good communication and interpersonal skills ● You are prepared to enter into a 12-month fixed term contract with the FPB and will be able (required) to work 6-16 hours per week.

The internshp programme will afford successful candidates an opportunity to be trained in the classification of materials  and associated  administrative tasks. The programme will also provide insight into the functions and units of the FPB and the role of the public section and regulators in society.

All interns will report to the an FPB supervisor who will monitor and evaluate work activities and programmes. Successful candidates will be remunerated in accordance with the current FPB intern rates.
