Transnet: Business Intelligence Graduate-in-Training Opportunity

Purpose
Provide support to the Senior and Executive Managers: Sustainability Intelligence, Reporting and Climate Change; develop and implement Sustainability data reporting processes and systems for Sustainability key performance areas (KPAs) at each of Transnet’s operations and support services; maintain and enhance processes and systems to enable continues assurance of reporting data; ensure processes and systems are compliant according to requirements of external assurance body’s; research on
sustainability-related issues, to include global best practice; administrative duties
associated with Sustainability forums, training workshops, meetings and the production of
the annual Sustainability Report (SR); liaising with internal stakeholders; compiling
reports, presentations and memoranda.
Output
Development and implementation of data processes and systems; sourcing, capturing and analysing relevant sustainability data for measuring, assessing and reporting on Transnet’s sustainability KPAs; Collating necessary data in accessible formats (graphics, tables etc) for the SR; Analysing sustainability trends for inclusion in monthly and quarterly reports, as well as the SR; Liaising with internal stakeholders (in Operating Divisions and Specialist Units) to ensure their constructive participation in supplying the relevant sustainability data.
Qualifications & Experience
A relevant Honours degree in Business Analysis or Information Systems is required
