Nelson Mandela Bay Ports hereby invite applicants from suitably qualified Graduates, for a 24 month graduate trainee programme. This programme is aimed at providing workplace exposure and experience through skills transfer in Information Technology and does not guarantee permanent placement at the end of the 24 months. The individual will report and work closely with the ICT Manager, ensuring ICT service delivery in line with the ICT Manager’s responsibility.
Based in the Port of Ngqura, the Trainee will be required to work extended hours as and when required, to ensure service delivery within the Port environment.
Position outputs :
The successful candidate will be involved in projects where he / she will be exposed to various ICT related projects. The
candidate will work under an experienced mentor who will give guidance throughout the programme. The graduate will be
required to sign a 12 month agreement and salary will be in line with the Transnet trainees’ salary schedule.
Qualifications & Experience :
- 3 year, IT Related Diploma
- Grade 12
- Certificate of Support Analyst
- Microsoft A+ (Hardware and Software Support) certificate
- N+ (Networking skills) certificate
- Code 08 Driver’s License
