The East London IDZ, on an annual basis grants graduates industry exposure thereby enhancing their employability through an internship programme. The organisation values disciplined, enthusiastic go getters and self-starters. ELIDZ employs people who are passionate about their careers. They must meet the following criteria:
- Must be born and bred in the Eastern Cape
- Must have completed their studies during the year of the internship and be unemployed.
Interns will be exposed in the following programmes for a period of twelve months:

| Supply Chain | B. Degree in Purchasing or Related field |
| Engineering | National Diploma in Civil Engineering & Property & Building Engineering |
| Property Development | BSc in Property Studies |
| Corporate Communication | B. Degree in Corporate Communications |
| Marketing | B. Degree in Marketing |
| Research | Postgraduate Degree in Bus. Management |
| Agro-processing | B. degree in Agriculture |
| Safety, Health & Environment | Diploma in Safety Management |
| Research (Science & Technology ) | Postgraduate degree in Economics or Econometrics or Statistics or Mathematics |
| Research (Science & Technology) | Postgraduate degree in Strategic Management /innovation / Marketing |
Other Requirements
Candidates must have completed their studies and be unemployed at the moment.
First preference will be given to top performers academically.
