Minimum Requirements…

Job Specification…

  • The Hollard Fund/Asset Administration System
    • Ensure that the system is updated by preparing and uploading accurate asset and transaction data on a monthly basis. This includes the translation of electronic 3rd party data into a suitable format as well as limited manual data capture
    • The understanding of accounting principles and basic tax is required to ensure that the system uploads are correct
    • Design of new system reports as well as continuous improvement and testing of the system
  • Bond and Annuity Revaluations
    • Update the Bonds and Annuities revaluation schedules on a monthly basis. This includes maintaining the list and details of all instruments and using the yield curve and funding/credit spreads to determine the market values for each instrument using discounted cash flows
    • Report the values and movements monthly for upload into the General Ledger and Asset Admin System
  • Asset and Performance Reporting
    • Produce asset and movement reports for Hollard’s tax department, for both the Hollard Insurance and Hollard Life companies, on a monthly basis
    • Produce monthly and ad hoc asset and performance reports for the Hollard Investment Committee, General Ledger and various internal parties
    • Hold a sound understanding of the assets on the balance sheets in order to understand and check all asset and performance reporting
  • Monthly Unit Pricing (Support role when required)
    • Support and in some months run with the unit pricing of linked assets, using the Asset Admin system. Will require an in-depth knowledge of unit pricing and how the monthly process works
    • Prepare and distribute monthly fund fact sheets
    • Schedule, chair and minute the monthly unit price signoff meetings, fielding questions about the linked assets, their performance and the unit pricing
  • Compilation of the Investment Committee Pack (Support role)
    • Assist with and in some months run with the collection, collation, printing and distribution of the monthly packs for the Hollard Investment Committee

Provide general support to the Investment Accountant and other team members
