Successful interns will be appointed on contract, from 1 May 2013 to 30 April 2014

And will receive a stipend of R3 785.25 per month

How to Apply

Only applications submitted on a duly completed Z83 Form (available from any Public Service Department), with full particulars of qualifications (on a separate sheet or Curriculum Vitae), certified copies of
Identity

Documents and qualifications and the names of three referees will be considered. Those qualifications not containing the afore-mentioned will be disqualified. It is compulsory that Section B of the Form be completed.

The Department of Sport and Recreation will only communicate with short-listed candidates who have been selected for interviews and reserve the right not to make any appointments. Applicants must note that further background checks will be conducted once they are short-listed and that appointment is subject to positive outcome of these checks.

Applications should be forwarded in time, since those received after the closing date, as indicated, will not be accepted. A separate application form must be completed for each internship being applied for and the specific reference number must be indicated. Candidates who have previously participated in an internship programme with another Government department will not be considered.
