Ensure that all processes, systems and equipment are operated safely according to legislation (OHS Act), and to ensure the stability and integrity of the Tank Farm production area.

Job specification

Specific experience required:
None

Required outputs: Functional:

• Physically monitor- and operate production processes, systems and equipment
• Conduct visual inspections on the process and plant
• Report process- and safety deviations to Shift Manager on shift
• Communicate and assist team members in controlling the process
• Compile relevant area shift report at end of shift
• Inspect equipment and complete safety checklist
• Report all unsafe conditions to Shift Manager
• Comply with all legal requirements
• Taking of samples and readings in the plant
• Loading/Off-loading of road tankers

Job Requirements

Qualifications and expertise required (Must):

• Grade 12/N3 with Maths, English and Science (must)

General:

• Practice good house keeping
• Adhere to all safety regulations and work standards
• Application-, monitoring- and control of production processes
• Comply with all legal requirements
